Marion Ross Performing Arts Center
Stage Lighting Project

In the fall of 2017, a complete transformation of the stage lighting at the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center was completed by ACT. Many new lighting instruments were purchased, replacing some lights that were 40 or 50 years old. Two large light bars above the audience were moved and rewired to provide much more improved lighting of the stage, which has grown significantly over the years. This investment will improve the audience experience at all ACT shows for many years to come, and was made possible thanks to grants provided by Mayo Clinic Health System, Farmers State Bank and the Carol E. Lundblad Foundation Fund of The Freeborn County Community Foundation.
