Theatre Kids Camp is a summer program for children ages 8-13 to learn and improve their theatre skills, including teamwork, annunciation and confidence. For three hours: 9 a.m. to noon each day from July 7 to July 11 at the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center, kids will work with our volunteer adult leaders to learn and create a show to be performed on July 11 at 5:30 p.m. The show on that final Friday will be open to the public with the option of a free will donation.
New this year: Auditions will be held Monday, June 30, from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. and from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., open house style. Tryouts will follow a short class. Tryouts are NOT mandatory but are encouraged. This will allow the camp leaders to meet the campers before the camp starts. All registered campers will have a role in the play.
Registration is $75. The first 50 applicants will be accepted. Registration is now open through June 30.
