Purpose
To provide parameters and expectations regarding the age of an audience member purchasing a student ticket for an Albert Lea Community Theatre (ACT) performance.
Policy
ACT welcomes children ages 3 and above. Children under 3, including young infants, will not be admitted. Even if your child is over 3, it is vital to consider if your child will be able to sit in one place for two to three hours without making noise that interrupts the performance and disturbs other audience members or the actors on stage.
All audience members must have a ticket, regardless of age — even if your child sits on your lap.
ACT offers a reduced student ticket price to children from the age 3, up to and including college students.
Some shows may not be suitable for young children. If you are unsure, please ask the box office.
